Eco-Friendly British Columbia-Based Cascadia Hotel Produces No Waste

Vancouver, British Columbia-based Cascadia Hotel & Suites has become the first hotel in Canada to be a 100% Zero Waste property. This means that the hotel has eliminated all waste going to landfills, thus becoming an industry leader in eco-accommodations. Through a partnership with WasteLess Environmental Services, the hotel implemented a recycling program for hotel guests and employees that recycles materials including kitchen waste, newspapers, beverage cans and bottles, and electronics and batteries.
